What is ChargeBolt?
ChargeBolt is the largest network of scan & go portable chargers across London, we provide this service for
free various establishments, essentially any location where you may need to pick up a charger.
As a customer, you should scan the QR code on the ChargeBolt box, this will allow you to register or access your account and rent a portable charger. After returning this portable charger the user is charged.
How do I get ChargeBolt?
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
How to rent and use ChargeBolt?
- Get the App and scan the QR code of a ChargeBolt station.
- Register & link your bank card.
- Borrow the charger and the billing will start.
- Return the charger when you’re done at any other ChargeBolt station and we’ll take the payment.
Do I need to pay a deposit to use this service?
Payment cards we accept
ChargeBolt is charged at certain cost 2AED per hour. You won’t be charged more than 5hours a day, for a period of 6 days at which point you can keep the charger! The minimum usage period is one hour.
To return, simply place the charger into an empty slot of the ChargeBolt station. You’ll know the return is complete when the green light stays on.
Once the charger has been returned and locked, the fare will be deducted from your designated account,and an message will be sent to you for further reference.
Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.
Refund & Cancellation policy
It is regarded the costumer accept the regulations and policies once the customer tick “I read and accept the agreement ”in the APP before they get into NEXT STEP.
The service is provided to customer by hourly rate.
The customer is allowed to return the device within the first 5 minutes without charge.
Any service exceed to 5 minutes is going to be charged accordingly and non-refundable.
Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 24 hours of receipt of payment.
What do i do when I can’t take out my portable charger?
If you can’t take it out and the billing starts, please call our freephone and our team will be ready to assist you!
What should I do when I can’t return my portable charger?
If you can’t return the charger and the billing continues, please call our freephone and our team will be ready to assist you!
What to do if i’ve lost my portable charger?
Give us a ring on our freephone and we’ll stop the billing and deduct the fare.

What to do if a ChargeBolt station is full or empty?
Kindly try and pass by the nearest alternative station to drop off the charger.
Are they Waterproof?
No, if your charger comes into contact with water please contact customer service as soon as possible.
Is ChargeBolt safe?
We’re CE Verified (EU) and MFI Approved (Apple Approved Hardware). Our products are made with care with safety at the core of our manufacturing process. Whilst charging, ChargeBolt can’t steal your information - see our policies on data located on the settings page.
What to do if your charger isn't working.
If the charger isn’t working, please return the charger within 2 minutes and you will not be charged. Otherwise, please contact us on our freephone and we’ll get it sorted. Our live chat feature will be live very soon!
